1. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
1.1. L2minigames and collection of information
We ("L2minigames") do not collect your personal information in any purpose through our apps/games (with the exception of the game "Wanderful World", which has a special privacy statement). However your personal information is collected by Google Admob through our apps/games in order to show ads (see 1.2 below). If you contact us through mail we will delete your mail and your mail adress when the conversation is deemed closed. We do not disclose your personal information to any third party.
1.2 Information collected through ads
1.2.1 Why we collect your information
Our source of income in our games are ads (at this point only through Google AdMob). To be able to show ads in our apps/games some information is automatically collected from your device.
1.2.2 Collected information
When you use our apps/games, information is automatically collected from your device. This information may be considered personal information under applicable data protection laws, such as: Your IP address, device identifiers (device type, device model, manufacurer, operating system, screen size and language) and your Advertising ID. Your IP address is typically used by advertisers to identify your general geographic location (for example your country, state, and city).
1.2.3 Advertising ID and why it is collected
"Advertising ID" is the Apple Identifier for Advertisers (“IDFA”) on Apple, and Google Advertising Identity (“GAID”). These are unique identifiers for mobile devices that advertisers use for interest-based advertising. They are consistent across all apps and thus allow cross-app tracking.
On Apple, you can opt out by choosing the “limit ad tracking” option in the privacy settings. On Google Android, you can opt out by choosing the “Opt out of interest based ads.”
Advertising IDs are non-permanent, non-personal identifiers uniquely associated with your device. These technologies allow companies (including marketers and advertisers) to recognize your device when you use websites and applications. You can control and limit our use of your advertising ID in your device settings. We do not control which specific ads are shown in our games (this is controlled by Google AdMob), but we do prohibit certain types of ads.
Advertising IDs are used by ad networks for a number of purposes including, for example, to limit the number of times you see the same ad, ensure they are dealing with humans with real devices and not automated “bots”, to serve you with advertisements likely to be relevant to you based on your advertising ID, your engagement with other brands and ads which is recorded using your advertising ID, and to use your general geographic area. Ad networks track which apps/games you have used to market you similar kind of apps/games.
